David is originally from East Yorkshire. He graduated from Magdalene College, University of Cambridge with a degree in English, where his academic pursuits included English opera and the works of Stephen Sondheim. His other interests include football, running and cooking. David lives in West Yorkshire.

 

He is a Board Member of the Opera and Music Theatre Forum, Trustee of Leeds Youth Opera, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
